ABAtv?
About ABAtvABATv is ABA’s newest online learning tool: a website in which the students and the general audience have access to videos about the school’s events and lectures as well as recordings on specific topics, such as Multiculturalism, Professional Orientation, and, of course, English Classes. Produced by ABA’s digital media laboratory (Digi-Lab), the videos also count with the contribution of students, teachers and many other employees and collaborators of the institutiuon. By combining audio-visual tools and the Internet, ABA is once again expanding the reach of its mission, which is to contribute for the personal and professional development of its associates in an innovative, productive and pleasurable way through educational, linguistic and cultural activities. |

GoalsThe audio-visual resource is nowadays one of the most famous and attractive tools on the web. ABA’s main goal in creating the ABATv website is to offer, in an innovative and interactive way, more information about what goes on in the school and to explore more broadly its mission as a language teaching institution. This means that, by dealing with topics such as English Classes, Professional Orientation and Multiculturalism (thus other topics within the school’s semester programmed lectures and events), ABA is giving its students and the general audience different perspectives and more diverse information about some of the subjects that have been focused on and valued by the institution. By publishing videos on the web, ABAtv is a different way of stimulating people to learn and to have a personal, linguistic and professional growth. Besides, through ABATv, special lectures and other important activities and events that happen in the school will be more easily shared with a broader number of people. |
